• The side delivery arm of the Planmeca Compact s unit is spring-balanced for a lock-free and precise height adjustment.
• During patient change, the instrument console can be positioned behind the patient chair backrest allowing for an easy access to service the instruments and handpieces

Needle bearings allow smooth positioning of the console, so that the instruments can always be placed optimally in the working area according to the treatment phase.
The suction arm can be equipped with a control panel, which allows the assistant all the versatile controls of the unit for practical and flexible teamwork.
Planmeca Compact s has five or optionally six instrument positions. The 6th instrument position is dedicated to intraoral camera.
All instrument hoses are equipped with intelligent Plug&Perform quick connectors which enable free and effortless positioning of the instruments.
The multifunctional unit foot control with stable construction provides easy-to-use and aseptic hands-free controls of the chair, unit and instrumentation. - Comfort for the patient

Anatomical chair and upholstery design with smooth, seamless and easy-to-maintain standard upholstery completes the chair appearance.
As an alternative, the chair can be equipped with the viscoelastic Ultra upholstery, which adapts perfectly to follow the patient’s anatomy. The Ultra provides extra comfort appreciated especially in long treatment sessions.
The unit can be equipped with pivoting glass bowl.
Optional automatic leg rest with movement synchronised to the backrest allows easy entry and exit and face-to-face-consultation. - Careful infection control

• All parts that are exposed to contamination are removable or protected by removable elements.
• The daily dental unit waterline flushing procedures are highly automated.
• A periodical waterline treatment with the Planmeca Waterline Cleaning System (WCS) assures removal of microbial biofilm within the dental unit's waterlines. The WCS routine procedure enables low bacterial CFU counts in unit internal waterlines.
• Intelligent Suction Tube Cleaning System fills the suction tubes with diluted disinfectant solution. The tubes are left to immerse for two minutes - significantly more effective cleaning procedure compared to mere flushing.
• Planmeca Compact’s uniform and smooth surfaces are easy to clean.
