Planmeca Intra has an extremely steady arm that provides smooth, precise movement thus allowing accurate and easy positioning. The tube head weighs only 4.5 kg (10 lbs), enabling drift-free and accurate placement. - Quick settings with intuitive operation

The imaging parameters are selected on the intuitive control panel. Quick settings for different imaging needs (single tooth, bite-wing, endo, occlusal and adult/child) allows always to have right exposure values for individual cases. Radiation technique parameters (cone length, film speed etc.) can easily be adjusted by changing the density settings.

Planmeca Intra provides full control of the imaging parameters (kV, mA, time) thus guaranteeing optimal images for different anatomical conditions and image receptors. The voltage is adjustable form 50 to 70 kV and current from 2 to 8 Ma

Planmeca Intra has versatile installation possibilities: standard wall mount, single stud mount, Planmeca Sovereign and Planmeca Sovereign Classy dental unit mount, ceiling mount optionally with Planmeca Delight operating light, floor column mount, mobile base mount and pass-through mount.
Four extension arm lengths are available for wall mount, reach between 1 525–1 975 mm.
